Rented a car for 5 days from here and they were great to deal with. Made reservations on line arrived early morning had a fast check in. The car was ready it was super clean, had no issues with it. I would definitely use them again.

Great service..
I really appreciate the service that we received. Our flight was canceled and FIREFLY (HERTZ) gave our car away to someone else even though I prepaid for it. I would highly recommend Reykjavik rent a car! I would not recommend HERTZ who owns FIREFLY, not response, non-refundable, and terrible customer service!!

We rented a Duster for 6 days, for winter time. I liked very much the email updates about the weather and road situation (during those days), the information provided and the good coffee at the office! The car had good winter tires very needed for the icy roads.

Rent a car in Iceland...
We rented a Dacia Duster from Reykjavik rent a car, for 6 days, and we had a very good experience. I liked the emails regarding the weather situation, the information provided about the road websites and the good coffee at the office!
The car was very good for winter time, offered stability during harsh winds and the tires were excellent for icy roads.

Staff at the car renting office were very friendly, helpful and easy going. Big thanks to them.
One a little bit disappointing thing was that the car windshield cleaning liquid was gone and in general windshield wipers were worn out, that made driving more difficult. But the rest with the car was really fine.

Very efficient booking, confirmation and check-in process.
Received an upgrade to a slightly higher 4x4 which was almost brand new.
Communication on car pickup was efficient and very effective and friendly.
I'd have no problem recommending them or using them again.
